Special weekends - Msg to Regina
Hi there,
This something that bugs me a little bit and it bugs some of my friends as well.
We would like to know about your planned special weekends in advance. I have three weekends that I would like to be at my PC for two days, I am sure that there are others who want the same.
However I may be in a minority who plans weekends in advance and sometimes I am working. I would appreciate knowing about special weekends around 10-12 days in advance rather than 4 because 4 is way too little for me.

If you're going to schedule real life around a game weekend double bonus event, then there's something really wrong...or just champ noobs

Less events. They were good when they only happened every once in a while.

I don't know how it works on the back end, but if there's no technical or time-constraint reason that the notice is so short, I don't see why they couldn't post a schedule somewhere.
Still... what masamune said. It can't be healthy to be planning your life around a video game....

That.
And don't be too sad about missing weekend events. They're sure to come around again pretty soon...

I have to agree with this. The events just don't seem as good now that they are every weekend

They're fine weekly, they give people a good excuse to do something together on the weekends.
There are bigger events, like the Gaile one, Christmas and all that. They still remain special.

Or ignoring anything IRL to play a video game.

what's the harm?

Same, IMHO not much harm to it. It's a hobby and like all hobbies people take time to do them. x]
I like the events... "special" or not, it's something better than nothing :P.

Please also let me know what I'm getting for Christmas at least a month in advance, so I can plan my purchases until then accordingly.

I usually play on weekdays and cannot play on weekends, so I guess this is pointless for me to post about this. Or is this a passive-aggresive form of complaint about the system? I don't care.

I'd rather go to the pub.

Thats what I will be doing or working but since I like this game and some of my friends play it knowing about the weekends a bit more than four days in advance would be nice.
It isn't sad to admit that you want to play a game at your weekend, and if that game is an online one where you get special weekends that you may want to participate in, it would be good to know a bit in advance.

The only events worth scheduling for, imo, are the holiday events, which are the ones who give good items and hats. Events such as the "Triple XP" or "Double Faction" or whatever I just don't care about, and it is a waist to plan for them.
